Hi! My name is Alana Young and I’m the wedding stationery designer behind Lucky Note Design. I live on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula (south of Melbourne), Australia with my partner and two young boys. I hold a Bachelor of Design (Communication Design) and love being creative (of course!), geeking out on typefaces and all things paper. I’m here to help you to create distinctive, modern and truly unique wedding and event invitations which capture the mood and emotion of your wedding. I believe they are more than just a piece of paper but a memorable printed keepsake.

I’m a stickler for thoughtfully created design and I really believe that “the details are not the details, they make the design” from the typography to the paper stock and printing. All these components put together to make a wedding invitation should be greater than the sum of its parts. When your guests first see your invitation in the mail box my aim is that their senses are engaged with the tactile quality of the paper and beautiful design.
